CLARKSTOWN – A 20-year-old New York City man has been arrested by State Police following a vehicle and traffic law violation while driving on Town Line Road in the Town of Clarkstown.
The vehicle that Daniel Amster was driving was not registered.
Troopers conducted an inventory search before towing it from the scene and located a plastic baggie with Psilocybin mushrooms, and an unidentifiable white powdery substance inside plastic capsules un unmarked medicine containers.
Amster was arrested and charged with two felonies of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He was released on an appearance ticket and several traffic tickets.
