CLINTONDALE – A late morning windswept fire in Clintondale raged through a residential structure on Hull Avenue.
A neighbor said flames engulfed the building rapidly and were reported to have spread to nearby brush because of the strong winds.
Early reports from the scene said the building was occupied, but there was no additional word.
Several area fire departments were called in to assist in extinguishing the blaze, the cause of which was not immediately known.
