SUFFERN – Village Mayor Michael Curley of Suffern announced he has submitted a tentative budget with a zero percent property tax increase.

“This was achieved with the help of our Treasurer Michael Genito, department heads, and Trustees Alpert, Corrigan, Sauberman, and Hagen,” he said.

The spending plan includes no cuts to services for village residents.

“We will strive, with the help of our community, to make Suffern an even greater place to live,” Curley said. “We are continually adding new activities for all our residents. We will be doing a Trolley History Tour to show off our historic sites. We also have kept in place all of our senior activities as well as adding more events for our Suffern families.”
