TOWN OF WALLKILL – Two people were seriously injured, one with life-threatening injuries, in a two-car crash on Route 211 near Goshen Turnpike in the Town of Wallkill on Thursday, Police Chief Robert Hertman said.
Both drivers were airlifted to Westchester Medical Center with serious injuries. One woman was in very serious condition, the chief said.
The exact cause of the crash is under investigation; however, the heavy rain and wet pavement appear to have contributed to the incident.
