Clintondale man arrested on 18 counts of forgery, grand larceny

WAWARSING – A 36-year-old Clintondale man has been arrested by the State Police BCI at the Wawarsing barracks on eight counts of forgery, eight counts of possession of a forged instrument and one count of grand larceny, all as felonies.

Thomas Mann allegedly wrote checks on the account of a dead man and used them to pay his own bills. He defrauded the bank out of $4,518.

Mann was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail pending further court action.
