Molinaro said this was the highest number of signatures ever filed by a Republican in NY-19.

State Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (R, Deerpark) has filed petitions in Albany to appear on the Republican and Conservative Party lines in November. He has served in the Assembly since December 2014 and previously served as Deerpark town supervisor.

Senator Michelle Hinchey has filed her petitions to seek a second term in Albany on the Democratic line.

Walton Village Trustee Eric Ball has filed petitions to run on the Democratic line for the 44th State Senate seat. He secured more than double the number of signatures needed.

He will face Republican-Conservative Michael Martucci in November.

As of board of elections filing at the end of the day on Tuesday, April 6, attorney Jacqueline Ricciani, a Republican, is the only candidate to have filed petitions to run for the Sullivan County Family Court judge post up this fall.
