HYDE PARK – Town police are investigating a Saturday morning shooting at an apartment complex in Town of Hyde Park, Chief Robert Benson said.  Police responded to the incident at approximately 5:30 a.m. on April 2.

Benson told Mid-Hudson News that six bullets were fired into an apartment at the Hailand Apartments complex on Alexander Drive.  The complex is located behind Haviland Plaza on Violet Avenue.

Benson said his department has been investigating the incident and he is confident that the shooting was not a “random act.”

There were no victims as a result of the early morning shooting.
