SPRING VALLEY – A Spring Valley man has been charged with assault for punching a man in the face while in the presence of the victim’s wife and two young children.
The incident occurred in the area of West and Hoyt streets in Spring Valley on March 18. Two days later, Spring Valley Police arrested Donald Lane, 49, and charged him with assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
He was released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
Police did not say what precipitated the attack.
