Middletown man sentenced for DWI in Pike County

MILFORD, PA – A Middletown man has been sentenced in Pike County, Pennsylvania Court for driving with a blood alcohol content of .161 percent. That’s double the legal limit.

Thomas Power, 35, was sentenced to 90 days to five years in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,500 and had his driver’s license suspended for 18 months for the crime of driving under the influence.

Pennsylvania State Police had observed Power driving across the solid yellow lines on Route 739 in Delaware Township on February 23, 2021.

He exhibited thick speech, glassy bloodshot eyes, and smelled of alcohol.

He admitted to drinking prior to driving.
