Greene County facilities approved for state rehab loans

ALBANY – The State Environmental Facilities Corporation Board has approved loans to the Village of Tannersville and Town of New Baltimore for upgrades to their facilities.

The Village of Tannersville will receive over $2.2 million in long-term, interest-free financing and a more than $534,000 grant to rehabilitate its existing water treatment plant, arsenic removal treatment for the Rip Can Winkle Well, additional groundwater source capacity, replace aged water mains and meters, and rehabilitate the existing water storage tank.

The Town of New Baltimore will receive over $1.8 million in long-term, interest-free financing and a more than $111,000 grant for wastewater system upgrades.
