SAUGERTIES – Police Chief Joseph Sinagra is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing teenage girl that was reported missing on Wednesday, February 23. Makenna Walsh was last seen by her Overlook Circle neighbors around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
The 14-year-old Walsh was reported missing by her parents. Chief Sinagra said the girl may be trying to travel to New York City.
The teen is described as a white female, 5’4″ tall, weighing 135 pounds, with brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, gray jogger pants, and pink Crocks. She is possibly carrying a black Nike drawstring backpack.
Anyone who may have seen Walsh or has information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call the Saugerties Police at 845-246-9800.
