WOODBURY – Two Flushing women were arrested by Town of Woodbury Police on Wednesday following a two-month investigation into activities at Body Beauty Spa at 95 Maher Lane in Harriman.
Shao Fang Huang and Jing Wang, both 54, were arrested on felony charges of unauthorized practice of a profession, a felony under state education law. Huang was also charged with a misdemeanor for prostitution.
Both women were processed and issued appearance tickets pending a future court appearance.
The investigation began after a complaint of illegal activity at the spa.
The Orange County Drug Task Force assisted in the investigation.
