NANUET – Head-on crash on Palisades Interstate Parkway in Nanuet early Sunday resulted in both drivers being killed.
The crash occurred around 2:40 a.m. with the Nanuet Fire Department extricating one patient who was then transported to Montefiore Nyack Hospital where they were pronounced dead, according to Nanuet Community Ambulance Corps. The other driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in one of the vehicles was transported to the hospital with non-life-threating injuries.
State Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
