KINGSTON – A 31-year-old Kingston man has been remanded to the Ulster County Jail following his arrest on charges of stalking and harassment.

The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office said William Arrindell allegedly held a woman in his car against her will during a physical domestic dispute at 10 a.m. on January 23.

Investigation determined he was the driver of the vehicle that was later located on the Thruway in the Town of Ulster where he was arrested.

He was remanded when authorities learned he was wanted on an outstanding warrant as a parole absconder by the State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.

An order of protection was also issued on behalf of the victim.

State Police and NYPD assisted in the investigation.
