TOWN OF FISHKILL – A body was discovered in the woods at the end of Greenwood Drive in Fishkill on Friday, shortly after 12:00 p.m. Town of Fishkill police responded to the area located in the Beacon Hills section of town to investigate the discovery.
At approximately 1:15 p.m., the Dutchess County Medical Examiner was requested to respond to the scene.
The Fishkill police have been actively searching for an emotionally disturbed woman that went missing from her home in the Old Post Mall apartment complex on December 27.
No additional information has been made available.
