TOWN OF THOMPSON – A Bloomingburg woman believed to be on her way to work in Liberty was killed on Friday, December 24, 2021 when her car hit a water diversion ditch on Route 17 and rolled over.
The driver, identified as Lisa Kottl, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene by Sullivan County Coroner Alan Kestem.
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office was called to a report of the accident at around 7:30 a.m. Investigators said the 2007 Nissan Altima was westbound on the highway at exist 106 in the Town of Thompson when the accident occurred.
The investigation into the incident is continuing.
