ALBANY – An Orange County man pled guilty in Albany federal court Thursday to possessing and intending to distribute approximately two kilos of cocaine.

James Taylor, 33, faces from five to 40 years in prison, a fine of up to $5 million, and a term of supervised release of from four years to life.

As part of his guilty plea, Taylor admitted that on March 2, 2020, he and his co-defendant possessed with intent to distribute some two kilograms of coke.

The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Agency and is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s office.
