Family dispute leads to Sloatsburg stabbing

SLOATSBURG – A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 30-year-old in Sloatsburg early Saturday afternoon.

Ramapo Town Police said the victim sustained several stab wounds and was transported to Westchester Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition.

Investigation by police found the victim had been involved in a dispute with another member of his household leading to the physical altercation.

The suspect was charged with two felony counts of assault, a misdemeanor of criminal possession of a weapon and a felony of tampering with physical evidence.
