HUDSON VALLEY – Hudson Valley voters can vote for more than one Supreme Court Justice on today’s ballot.  Voters in the Ninth Judicial District can vote for up to five, while voters in the Third Judicial District can vote for up to three of the candidates.

The Third Judicial District encompasses Ulster, Sullivan, Greene, Columbia, Rensselaer, and Albany Counties.  Voters can choose up to three candidates on the ballot.  A picture of the sample ballot is below.

The Ninth Judicial District consists of the more populated counties of Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, and Westchester.  Voters have until 9:00 p.m. tonight to choose up to five candidates seeking a seat on the NYS Supreme Court.  A picture of the sample ballot is at the top of the story.

Several voters casting ballots in the Hudson Valley today have complained to Mid Hudson News that the “fine print” on the ballot regarding how many judges to vote for is hard to read, even with reading glasses on.
