Cuomo charged with sex crime in Albany

Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo
ALBANY – The Albany County Sheriff’s Office has issued a criminal summons for former Governor Andrew Cuomo.  The disgraced former governor is being charged with the misdemeanor sex crime of Forcible Touching.
The complaint prepared by an investigator with the Albany County Sheriff’s Office alleges that Cuomo committed the sex crime at the Executive Mansion located at 138 Eagle Street in Albany on December 7, 2020, in the afternoon.
The complaint says in part “Andrew M. Cuomo did intentionally. and for no legitimate purpose, forcibly place his hand under the blouse shirt of the victim and onto her intimate body part. Specifically, the victims’ left breast for the purposes of degrading and gratifying his sexual desires, all contrary to the provisions of the statute”.
Cuomo is set to surrender on November 17 to be photographed and fingerprinted prior to appearing in Albany City Court.
