TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – A fire at the Dunkin Donuts, 411 Violet Avenue (Route 9G) in Poughkeepsie Sunday afternoon has led to the store’s indefinite closure.
The Fairview, City of Poughkeepsie, and Roosevelt Fire Departments responded to the scene Sunday afternoon and found a small fire that appears to have originated in one of the small ovens. The flames were quickly extinguished and no injuries of first responders or civilians were reported.
A sign on the door of the popular coffee spot says, “We are closed until further notice.”
