NEWBURGH – If you worked at or visited the Department of Registration at the Newburgh Board of Education at 124 Grand Street on Thursday, August 26 and 27, you may have been exposed to COVID-19, Newburgh school district officials said on Wednesday.

An individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 was at that location during this time.

Officials said persons who were there should watch for symptoms of COVID-19 until September 6. These may include fever, chills, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, pinkeye, or an unexplained rash.

Contact your physician with any concerns.
