Ulster Jail inmate charged with assault

KINGSTON – An inmate at the Ulster County Jail has been charged with felony assault for allegedly attacking another inmate at the Kingston facility.

The sheriff’s office said Corey James, 20, of Kingston was allegedly involved in an altercation with another inmate and struck the victim in the face, causing injury that required hospital treatment.

James was charged with felony assault.
