ALBANY – The Dutchess County Land Trust has been awarded $421,732 in state funding to protect Meadowland Farm in Clinton Corners.

The funding comes from the state Department of Agriculture and Markets’ Farm Operations in Transition Farmland Protection Initiative, which made $14 million available to non-dairy farms across the state.

The Dutchess farm, which has been continually operated since its founding in 1790, was one of five to receive funding through the program this year.
