WAPPINGERS FALLS – A man claims to have been the victim of a home invasion shortly after noon on Wednesday. Police were summoned to 4 Scarborough Lane when a resident of the condominium claims that two black men broke into his residence and assaulted him before fleeing with some of his belongings.
The victim was reportedly in his kitchen when two men broke into his residence and struck him on the head with a blunt object, causing a laceration. State troopers responded and began an investigation into the incident.
Medics were dispatched to the Pavilion Condominium complex to treat the man for his wound. He accepted initial treatment but declined to be transported to the hospital for further examination.
