Attorney general to hold gun buyback in Newburgh

NEWBURGH – Attorney General Letitia James has been holding gun buyback programs around the Hudson Valley and today (Thursday) she is conducting one in the City of Newburgh.

This program, in conjunction with the Newburgh City Police Department, will be held from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at The Cathedral at the House church at 131 Broadway.

Guns of all kinds, working and non-working, will be accepted with no questions asked. Persons bringing them in will receive pre-paid gift cards ranging from $250 to $25, depending on the type of weapon brought in.
