In Crawford, three arrested on unrelated drug charges

TOWN OF CRAWFORD – Three men were arrested in separate incidents in the Town of Crawford days ago.

Town Police arrested John Bowens of Middletown on July 1 on a misdemeanor charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was released on an appearance ticket.

Gregory Vernooy of Middletown was arrested on July 1 on a charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance as a misdemeanor. He was released on an appearance ticket.

Also on July 1, police arrested Jonathan Torres of Middletown on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He, too, was released on an appearance ticket.

Crawford Police also arrested Damien Rose of Goshen on July 3 on a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and various other vehicle and traffic offenses. He was released on an appearance ticket.

On June 30, police arrested Patrick Oefelein of Monticello on a bench warrant. He was released to reappear in town court.

Arrested on June 29 was Daniel Deltoro of Middletown. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and other vehicle and traffic violations and issued an appearance ticket returnable to town court.
