MOUNTAIN LODGE PARK – When Blooming Grove Town Police responded to a domestic incident at a residence in Mountain Lodge Park section of the town on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 29, they arrested a resident who was also wanted by authorities in Pinella County, Florida.

Based on their investigation, police determined Jonathan Bawn, 21, should be charged based on a previous incident. Officers also learned he had a fully extraditable warrant from Florida.

Bawn had fled into a wooded area before police arrived, but with the assistance of Washingtonville Village Police Officer Mendez and K-9 Jax, they were able to track him down in a residence in the Glenwood Hill section of Mountain Lodge Park.

He was taken into custody without incident and charged with harassment and criminal mischief pertaining to the domestic incident and as a fugitive from justice.

As a result, he was arraigned and remanded to the Orange County Jail without bail pending an extradition hearing.
