GOSHEN – Incumbents in some Orange County municipalities took a beating in the primary elections held on Tuesday.

In Port Jervis, Councilman Stanley Siegel defeated current Councilperson-at-Large Lisa Randazzo-Misczuk in the Republican primary by a 59.8 percent to 40.1 percent margin.

In the Town of Cornwall, incumbent Town Supervisor Richard Randazzo lost in a Democratic primary to Joshua Wojehowski by a 75.9 percent to 23.9 percent margin.

In the Republican primary for Tuxedo town supervisor, former county legislator Daniel Castricone defeated David McMillen by a 60.5 percent to39.4 percent margin.

In the City of Newburgh’s Ward 1 Democratic primary, Giselle Martinez defeated Schnekwa McNeil and Gay Lee, a former councilwoman. Martinez pulled 48.3 percent to McNeil’s 34.7 percent and Lee’s 12.6 percent.

In the GOP primary for Port Jervis Ward 3’s two seats, Denis Livingston won with 36.3 percent of the vote. Michel Decker also won with 35.0 percent. They defeated Gerald Oney, Jr., who polled 28.6 percent.

For Orange County Legislator in District 1, incumbent Kevndaryan Lujan defeated Gabrielle Hill in the Democratic primary by a 56.0 percent to 43.71 percent margin.

In the Democratic primary in the county legislature’s District 6, Genesis Ramos defeated Roger Ramjug by a 67.1 percent to 32.5 percent margin.
