GOSHEN – Independence Day Weekend couldn’t be a more fitting time for a Heroes Appreciation Day.
The local group, Illuminate Goshen, has scheduled a full day of activities on Saturday, July 3, which will begin with a 10 a.m. 5K Run/Walk with registration at http://bit.ly/GoshenHeroes5K.
At 12 noon, a Heroes Parade will be held to honor veterans, first responders and frontline workers.
At 1 p.m., a Children’s Fun-Run will be held at the Goshen Historic Track.
And, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., an Open-Air Market on the Village Green will feature music by Strings Attached.
