BALMVILLE – It was the morning of June 9, 2004 when Yvonne Torch was in her beauty salon on Route 9W near the Balmville School in the Town of Newburgh.
The 32-year-old woman had finished with one customer and when the next appointment came in, they found her brutally murdered.
The cold case homicide has led investigators from Connecticut to Florida and points in between, tracking down hundreds of leads with none panning out.
State Police continue to investigate looking for evidence that could lead to the killer of the Marlboro woman.
