TOWN OF SANFORD – A 62-year-old Middletown woman was killed in a one-car crash on Route 17 near exit 84 in the Town of Sanford late Saturday afternoon, June 5.
State Police said Miriam Jimenez was a rear seat passenger in a Honda Civic that struck a wire guide rail, crossed the road, and struck a wire guide rail on the opposite side before going off the roadway and rolling over several times.
The driver, Yanlully Fenandez, 23, of the Bronx, and front-seat passenger, Jaynilin Jimenez, 22, of the Bronx, were transported to Wilson Hospital.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
