POUGHKEEPSIE – The City of Poughkeepsie has created a video and companion self-guided walking and biking tour maps to spotlight the diverse architecture in the city.

The video, “Postcards from Poughkeepsie: A History in Architecture,” explores various sections of the city and takes people on a journey for residents and tourists.

“This video captures the essence of a city rich with history,” said Mayor Rob Rolison. “The video explores not only Main Street and the city’s core, but neighborhoods and parks. The video should be an excellent reminder to our residents of what the city has to offer – and it surely should encourage visitors to come to our city and see all we have to offer.”

The city will be featuring the video on various social media platforms, and it will be prominently featured on the city’s PKGO website, www.poughkeepsiego.com, which showcases what it’s like to work, live and play in the city.
