EAST KINGSTON – The search for a missing eight-year-girl who is believed to have gone swimming in the Hudson River in East Kingston is now being considering a recovery mission.
The child was reported missing in the early evening on Monday prompting a swift response from police and fire departments that launched boats and a State Police helicopter over the river.
Monday night’s search was an attempt to locate the child, but today officials are considering it a recovery mission.
