Rockland County celebrates Pride Month

HAVERSTRAW – June is Pride Month, a time for people to come together in support of the LGBTQ+ community.

District Attorney Tom Walsh was in the Village of Haverstraw on June 1 as the Rockland County Pride Center raised the LGTQ+ and Transgender Pride flags over Village Hall.

He was joined by Supervising Assistant DA Maria Gaston-DeSimone and Investigator Deirdre Smith.

Pride Month in June is celebrated around the world.
