SAUGERTIES – A 41-year-old Saugerties man has been committed to the Ulster County Jail with no bail following a physical domestic incident at a Sawmill Road residence in the Town of Saugerties.
Police were called to the address just before midnight on May 31 where they said Antonio Giordano was in violation of a no-contact order of protection issued by Saugerties Town Justice Court. He is also charged with pushing the victim several times.
Giordano was charged with criminal contempt of the court order as a felony, aggravated family offense as a misdemeanor due to a previous family offense conviction within the past five years, and harassment.
