CUDDEBACKVILLE – A fire in a wooded area of Cuddebackville Friday destroyed a number of old vehicles and destroyed about a quarter acre of land, according to fire officials.
The smoky fire also caused a couple of small acetylene tanks to explode.
There were no reports of injuries.
“They are always running tractors back and forth back there. They ae always running back and forth with their motorcycles. Something was bound to happen, next door neighbor Dixon Santiago said. He was concerns with the wind kicking up, but said firefighters had the situation under control.
There were no reports of injuries and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
