Hit-and-run rollover accident investigated

TOWN OF NEWBURGH – State Police investigated an auto accident involving a hit-and-run on Friday.

One person had to be extricated from a vehicle by Coldenham firefighters. The individual was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center.

State and Town of Newburgh Police and Town of Newburgh EMS investigated the incident that occurred at the exit 38 off-ramp onto Route 747.

State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
