Ulster jail inmate charged with possessing contraband

KINGSTON – A 40-year-old inmate in the Ulster County Jail has been charged with felony promotion of prison contraband.

On March 26 at about 1:30 a.m., deputies were notified by corrections staff that Angel Perez-Morales was found in possession of a functioning lighter while being housed at the jail.

He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Kingston City Court.
