MONTICELLO – Several Sullivan County fire departments fought a blaze in a two-story house at 557 Thompson Road in Monticello Thursday. The structure sustained heavy damage.
The blaze was called in around 9 a.m. with a third alarm sounded for personnel.
Heiden Road near the site of the fully involved structure fire was closed off.
The initial call came in as a fire at a construction site.
