GOSHEN – The new Orange County Industrial Development Agency Board was supposed to entertain the final resolution granting financial incentives for Fiorello Pharmaceuticals to build a large research, manufacture and wholesale distribution center for medical marijuana in Warwick, but that will be addressed next week.

The new board was only briefed on the proposal for the first time on Wednesday, so acting Chairman Daniel Bloomer wanted to give members more time to study it.

“We all now have the documentation in our package to go over and board members can also go on the IDA website to review the presentation so we will be ready to vote next week,” he said.

The company, which hopes to build in the Warwick Tech Park at the site of a former state prison, is seeking a payment-in-lieu-of-taxes schedule as well as sales tax and mortgage filing fee exemptions.
