SCHENECTADY – Newburgh School District Assistant Superintendent for Student Support Services Pedro Roman is in negotiations with the Schenectady School District to become that city’s superintendent of schools.

Quoting sources, the Times Union reported Roman would begin contract talks with the Capital District school system shortly.

He is no stranger to the Schenectady district as he was an elementary school principal, dean of students, and special education teacher there for several years.
