Motorist airlifted following Route 300 accident

TOWN OF NEWBURGH – An accident in the area of 1542 Route 300 in the Town of Newburgh late Monday afternoon resulted in an individual being airlifted to the hospital.

The two-car crash in the Cronomer Valley area of the town occurred just before 5 p.m.

A Lifenet helicopter was brought in to transport a person who was reported to have sustained a serious injury. A second injured person was transported to a local hospital.
