KINGSTON – City Police in Kingston have arrested a 29-year-old city man on charges that he had sexual relationships with several young children over the course of several years.
Police were called to an address on Amsterdam Avenue on November 4 to check on the welfare of a child. Patrol officers called in the detective division and their investigation led to the arrest of Devin Harkins, 29, on two counts of criminal sexual act and course of sexual contact against a child, both as felonies.
The investigation is continuing.
Harkins was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
Kingston City Police were assisted by the Ulster County Child Advocacy Center.
