TOWN OF CRAWFORD – A Pine Bush man has been arrested on charges of armed robbery, assault, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon following an investigation into an armed robbery at a residence in the Town of Crawford.
Ryan Engels, 34, was committed to the Orange County Jail in leu of $10,000 cash bail or 50,000 bond.
A victim told Crawford Town Police that on October 31 while at a residence on Crawford Street, Engels allegedly struck him and pointed a shotgun at him before stealing cash and medication.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Group and Crawford Police executed a search warrant at the residence where they recovered a shotgun and narcotics.
