PEEKSKILL – Former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, a Republican, was in the lead over 40th District State Senator Pete Harckham as of early Wednesday.
According to the State Board of Elections, Astorino had polled 51 percent of the votes counted to Harckham’s 45 percent.
Harckham, a Democrat, is a former Westchester County legislator.
