CATSKILL – A Selkirk man, who was a corrections officer at the state’s Greene Correctional Facility, has been arrested.

State Police charged Mark Schomer-Dodd, 25, with offering a false instrument for filing, falsifying business records, and tampering with physical evidence, all as felonies, and a misdemeanor of official misconduct.

An investigation determined that while he was a corrections officer, Schomer-Dodd fabricated a report following an altercation between two inmates.

He was issued appearance tickets returnable to Coxsackie Town Court.
