Ellenville PD investigate hit-and-run that killed dog

ELLENVILLE – Police in the Village of Ellenville are investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Maple Avenue by Yankee Place at about 10:10 Saturday morning.

The driver was traveling on Maple Avenue when he struck and killed a dog in front of the owner.

The vehicle did not stop and continued toward Route 209.
