TOWN OF WALLKILL – A 59-year-old Middletown man was sent to Orange County Jail Thursday afternoon after being caught chasing a 34-year-old woman through the Route 211 Walmart in Wallkill.
Wallkill police responded to the Walmart just before 4 PM on Thursday for reports of a man chasing a woman through the store, trying to remove her pants.
Wallkill Police Chief Robert Hertman said that his officer apprehended John Pascucci in the store after witnesses said that he was chasing the victim through Walmart, in an attempt to rape her.
Pascucci was arrested and charged with Attempted Rape and Forcible Touching. The subject was arraigned in court and remanded to Orange County Jail on $150,000 cash bail or $350,000 bond pending a future court date.
