KENT – The New York State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred Monday on the Taconic State Parkway near Hortontown Hill Road in the Putnam County town of Kent.
Troopers say that Robert J. Costabile, age 69, of Valhalla, NY, was operating a motorcycle on the northbound side of the parkway near Hortontown Hill Road, failed to negotiate a curve and lost control before leaving the roadway.
Robert Costabile sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
This investigation remains ongoing.
